Something strange is going on in Massachusetts.

When Michael, patriarch of the Syntel family, dies in a farming accident, he leaves behind his wife Persyphone to raise their seven daughters alone. The entire town turns out to mourn the terrible tragedy. But was it an accident?
Persyphone is now facing an uncertain future and a host of unanswered questions. The deeper her investigation goes, the darker things become. There seems to be no end to the horrors surrounding the Syntels. But there is something much larger than Michael’s death overshadowing the family.
